Cyber Research Group
Netsyn is a cyber research group founded on a straightforward premise: the organizations making critical security decisions deserve better information than vendor marketing and recycled threat feeds.
We study adversaries. We evaluate the platforms built to stop them. And we connect organizations with the solutions that actually match their threat exposure — not the ones with the biggest channel budgets.
Our research team publishes threat analysis and adversary tradecraft studies. Our evaluation practice assesses enterprise security platforms against real-world attack patterns. Our recommendations are the product of that research — nothing else influences them.
We work with enterprise organizations across financial services, healthcare, defense, critical infrastructure, and technology. Organizations where cybersecurity is not a line item — it is an operational imperative.
We are not a vendor. We don't sell security products. We don't manage security operations. We don't run your SOC.
We do research. We evaluate platforms. We make introductions. That's what we do.
We track adversary campaigns, infrastructure, and tradecraft — studying how attacks actually unfold, not how they're described in press releases. This research drives everything we publish and everything we recommend.
We assess platforms the way your red team would test your defenses — against documented adversary behavior, in realistic conditions, with no vendor hand-holding. Detection coverage, response speed, operational burden, integration quality, and the costs that don't show up until month six.
We publish what we find. Our briefs carry TLP classifications and MITRE ATT&CK mappings because our audience operates in environments where those things matter. This is not content marketing. It is research.
When an organization engages us, we map their environment and threat profile to our evaluation findings. The output is a short list of platforms that address their specific exposure — and a direct introduction to the providers behind them.
Our evaluations are not for sale. We recommend what our research supports. If a platform doesn't perform, we don't recommend it — regardless of who built it.
We work inductively from data. Every assessment follows tested methodology. Every published claim is evidence-backed. We are not in the business of opinions.
Security posture is sensitive. Our engagements are confidential. We don't publicize who we work with, and we don't discuss one client's environment with another.
